Summer Group Show 2013: Opening Reception Photos!

New Hope Art Gallery's Summer Group Show 2013 was our biggest yet! We had over 200 pieces in the show, with 24 artists represented! Here are some of the highlights from the opening:

The Summer Show features 12 of our returning artists with: original music and paintings by Jeremy Arruda, Funky Robot Family collaboration from Assistant Curator Sandy DeLuca and Director Ricky Gagnon, large paintings by Assistant Curator Teddy Dilucia, watercolors by Jack Donahue, abstract mix media by Johnpaul Fernandes, acrylic paintings by Darrell Hughes, colorful paintings by Vic DaSilva Jr, photography by Tricia Machado, Poetry by Phillip J. Mellen who creates all of our show images and our blog, Colorful drawings by Wayne Quackenbush, Folk Art Sculpture by Bruno Ramieri and Funky Musician creations by Carol Scavotto. 
New artists showing with our gallery are: Tina Alesi from Australia, Joshua J Barbosa, Paula DeSano, Jay Egge, Pamela Fernandes, Colleen Kelley, Melyssa Lentini, Scott A. Maki from Michigan, Ian Mohon, John Reidel, Bradford Sherman, and Jessica Wheeler.

Summer Group Show 2013 Announcement!

A message from Director/Curator. Ricky Gagnon:
We wanted to announce our Summer Show Opening at New Hope Art Gallery for Tuesday July 23rd from 5 PM to 7:30 pm. We will be featuring drawings, digital art, paintings, 3D art, photography and poetry in our Main Gallery, large paintings in our Administrative Wing Gallery, and sculpture in our Courtyard Garden Gallery. This group show will feature over twenty talented local, one national and one international artist! You wont want to miss it. Hope to see you opening night! Thank you.

Spring Group Show 2013 Invite.

A note from gallery director:



New Hope Art Gallery will feature many new Local artists in our Main Entrance Gallery area for our Spring Show. Frani Kardosz Keeley is well known for her small colorful tree paintings. Tricia Machado will feature her locally inspired photography. Pamela Mackintosh will have her poetry on hand for the public to read. Wayne Quackenbush will feature drawings and paintings, Amy Burgin Smith and daughter Ava will also be showing their drawings in their very first show. Also exhibiting is Sandy DeLuca, with her own brand of colorful representations. Plus smaller works by Michelle Lapointe, Kathleen Corpuz, and Johnpaul Fernandes who all have art in other areas of our gallery. Returning artists are: Anthony Salemme with his lush plant life paintings, Bruno Ramieri and his well crafted sculptures, and Ted Dilcuia with his expressive paintings. Further we will have wonderfully humorous paintings by gallery director, Ricky Gagnon. Phillip J. Mellen also returns with his colorful constructions and paintings, David KouKol will feature his colorful drawings, all new Resident art and AS220 Youth art, and so much more! This will be our largest show ever so make sure you come check out our Spring Show Opening, meet our talented artists and take a tour of our new expanded gallery space.
