New Hope Art Gallery Spring Group Show reception March 31st.

A message from gallery director, Ricky Gagnon: 

Our spring Show opening is Tuesday March 31st from 5PM to 7:30pm and we will feature over 300 pieces of 2D and 3D art including ceramic, digital, drawing, fabric, glass, mosaic, painting, photography, sculpture and wood from 80 local, national, resident and student artists. Don't miss this wonderful show with entertainment provided by Rod Luther, playing jazz piano at the reception.

We want to thank all our wonderful artists who work with our gallery and our volunteer staff who make these shows possible every 4 months, including Assistant Curators Sandy DeLuca, Ted DiLucia and Barbara Rosenbaum. Refreshment Coordinators Lou and Zita Gagnon. Communications Coordinator Phillip J. Mellen who created and runs our blog.

Ricky Gagnon interviewed on Talent Time

Greetings gallery goers. Just this past January, gallery director Ricky Gagnon was interviewed about his own work and the often organic process of making his paintings. Wonderful insights in the working habits and thoughts behind the work and his studio life. It is interesting to hear the details of his current series and how his fellow art colleagues are adding a nice twist to his already colorful work. 
Also, Ricky goes into and details the brief history of the gallery and how much it reaches out to the local community as well as the residents of the training school. 
Along with a small group of volunters, Ricky has helped the gallery grow and it remains an exciting project and we look ahead into the fifth year of New Hope Art Gallery! So please lend your ears and eyes on this video segment and as always...thanks for your support!

Holiday Tour of our current art exhibition!

We have one more tour scheduled before the Holidays at New Hope Art Gallery. This coming Saturday December 20th, from noon to 2pm, we will be open to the public for a tour of this wonderful show. Support the local art scene and our many talented artists who show with us by picking up an affordable one of a kind piece of original art. Summer Show 2014 Gallery Walk Through

Summer Group Show 2014 Invitation!

A note on the upcoming exhibition, from our director, Ricky Gagnon:


Our Summer Show opening at New Hope Art Gallery will be on Tuesday July 29th from 5 pm to 7:30pm. We will feature 15 new artists showing with us for the first time in our gallery as well as 40 returning artists featuring a wide range of 2D and 3D art including collage, ceramics, digital art, drawing, fiber art, mixed media, painting, photography,and sculpture. Our 15 artists showing with us for the first time are a very talented group ranging from beginner having their very first show ever to established with many years of amazing work and contributions to the art community. They are Shawndavid Berry, Diane Boudreau, Lin Collette, Marcia Hirsch, Pop Icon, Ricky Katowicz, John Kotula, Gwen LeBlanc, Joe Mccarthy, Erminio Pinque, Bob Prata, Marcia Sessions, John Teehan, Dan Weisman, and Ian Wells. We will also feature Jazz Piano by Rod Luther and you will be greeted by Big Nazzo Puppets. We have a very large show in our Main Entrance Gallery, Administrative Wing Gallery and our Garden Gallery with 300 pieces of art. You will not want to miss this show.
